Technical Theater Internship - Mud by María Irene Fornés

 

Performance Venue: Empire Stage | 1140 N Flagler Drive, Ft Lauderdale, 33304

Compensation: $500 (with potential for additional pay based on experience and skillset)

 

Position Overview

Latiné Theater Lab is seeking two (2) Technical Theater Interns for our upcoming production of Mud by María Irene Fornés. This internship is designed for current or recent college graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in technical theater while building their portfolios. Interns will have the opportunity to focus on one or two key areas:

  • Lighting Design

  • Stage Management

Under the guidance of the production team, interns will contribute to various aspects of the production process. Lighting design interns will be able to collaborate on the design of the show and program cues during technical rehearsals. Stage management interns will serve as the ASM for the production and oversee backstage operations.

This internship provides a valuable opportunity to work with a new professional theater company, develop technical production skills, and expand your portfolio. We encourage passionate, emerging theater artists to apply!
